Joanne is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Highways and Transportation and Director for Arup in Cities, Planning and Design. She has held a board position with the Transport Planning Society in the UK and is currently the Global Skill Network Leader for Transport Planning for Arup. Over the last 25 years she has worked in the UK, Middle East, Australia and Southeast Asia on city shaping, innovative projects including the Master Planning of the Seychelles, Dubai Expo, the Surface Transport Masterplan for Abu Dhabi and the Future Transport Strategy for Sydney.
