Professor Jugdutt (Jack) Singh is acknowledged as one of Australia’s leading ICT researchers and thought leader with extensive senior level academic & research leadership and consultancy experience both in Australia and globally. Prior to his current appointment, he held various positions in Australia, including Victorian Director of the National Centre for ICT Excellence Australia; Director of SenseT - a partnership program between Fed Govt., Tasmanian State Govt., CSIRO, University of Tasmania and industry to transform Tasmanian economy; Director of Innovation and Translation at Swinburne University amongst others. He has also served on the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Transport Expert Group and member on number of Boards, including Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA), Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC), Centre for Technology Excellence Sarawak (CENTEXS), Oceania Cybersecurity Centre, Australian Microelectronic Network, National Networked Teletest Facility, amongst others.
