Wendy Leong is a Committee Member of the Malaysian Smart Cities Alliance (MSCA), where she contributes to national strategies on urban digitalisation, inclusive technology, and community resilience. With over 20 years of experience in AI-driven software development, she is also the founder and CEO of Mobiva and Veriva Systems, where she has led the creation of platforms like Mobiva Citizen and Rivastor to support disaster preparedness, civic engagement, and communication compliance. Her work focuses on applying AI and machine learning to address real-world challenges in climate adaptation, healthcare, and digital governance. Wendy has received global recognition, including selection to the LIF Global 2022 by the Royal Academy of Engineering and the WHA77 CHIEF Innovator Award. She is currently a PhD researcher at UKM, and holds an MBA from The University of Manchester. Wendy is a strong advocate for women in STEM and inclusive innovation for smarter, more equitable cities.
