Professor Ts Dr Shahrina Md Nordin is the Director of Smart and Sustainable Living (ISSL) at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, where she leads strategic initiatives on renewable energy, zero waste, and resilience-building for sustainable communities. She is a Fellow of the Energy Institute (EI), Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM), and Professional Technologist (MBOT). She is Project Overseer for the APEC Green Hydrogen Advocacy and Lead Facilitator of the Energy Transition Malaysian Alliance (ET-MAce), providing high-level insights into technology, investment, and policy that support sustainable energy futures. Her leadership in the Professional Alliance of Circular Economy (PACE) underscores her commitment to sustainable business practices. She has delivered keynote, plenary, and panel sessions internationally on sustainability, energy transition, and social innovation, and has led impactful projects integrating sustainability, innovation, and community well-being, which are essential foundations for future-ready smart cities. Her works have received recognitions at national and international levels.
