Puan Norhasliza leads the Climate Action Group at MGTC, overseeing strategies that accelerate Malaysia’s transition to low carbon cities. With over 21 years of experience, she works closely with local authorities and communities to promote green lifestyles and supports the measurement and reporting of GHG emissions by corporates and SMEs. She has played a key role in national sustainability efforts, including the Green Technology Master Plan, Green Tax Incentives, and the ASEAN Energy Management Scheme. Her leadership has also driven the development of state-level initiatives such as the Kedah Green Agenda and Selangor Green Action Plan. She previously served as Project Director for impactful programs like the Government Green Procurement Project and MyRelamp. An alumna of the U.S. Department of State’s IVLP, she holds a Master’s in Strategic Management from UTM and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from IIUM. Her work continues to shape Malaysia’s green growth and climate action landscape.
