Mr. Norazrin Rupadi currently serves as the Deputy Director at the Energy Efficiency Development Unit, Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission of Malaysia). He leads national initiatives including the development of the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan 2.0 (NEEAP 2.0) and oversees the implementation and monitoring of energy efficiency programs under the 11th Malaysia Plan. He plays a key role in enforcing the Efficient Management of Electrical Energy Regulations (EMEER 2008) and evaluating technical proposals for energy-related tax incentives. A technical advisor in drafting the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act, Mr. Norazrin also represents Malaysia as the national focal point for Energy Efficiency under the ASEAN EE&C-SSN platform. He holds a Master’s in Energy Management from UNITEN and is active in regional energy cooperation.
