Junaida Orangzib has been with the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) since 2016 and currently serves as the Senior Manager of the Digital Transformation Division. She leads the strategic adoption and facilitation of the Sharing Economy across targeted and key sectors. Through collaborative, co-creation efforts and catalytic projects with industry stakeholders and platform partners, Junaida plays a critical role in addressing ecosystem gaps and driving innovation. Her work is strategically aligned with the objectives of the 12th Malaysia Plan and MDEC’s long-term goals, ensuring the continued growth and impact of the Sharing Economy in Malaysia. Prior to MDEC, she served in several local financial institutions and telecommunications companies. She graduated from Lancaster University with a Bachelor of Science (Telecommunications & Information Technology) in 2004.
