Dr. Rhema, a medical doctor by background is currently the Head of Customer Experience at Institut Jantung Negara (IJN), Malaysia. She brings a wealth of expertise in digital health technology and healthcare management. Graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore, India, Dr. Rhema is also a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) and a fervent advocate for patient safety with substantial experience in healthcare quality. Her passion for hospital administration is evident in her pursuing a Masters’ in Healthcare Management (MBAHM). Her growing interest in health information technology, coupled with her clinical background has led her to play a key role in IJN’s digitalization projects aimed at enhancing the overall patient experience. These initiatives include the in-house development of IJN’s novel staff mobile application, IJNPulse and the patient mobile app, IJNCare. Dr. Rhema is also a driving force of IJN’s Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM) initiative.
